So, while sitting in my room I decided to mess around with some of the shadows that I have, I am not normally someone that just plays around but I was just in the mood to have some fun!
In this look I only have eye shadow and brows on as it was late at night and just before going to bed so please don't judge my skin to harshly! All of the shadows I used were pigments that I bought off of the internet by some brands that I really enjoy! If you're in the market for some new pigments I def suggest giving these brands a look!
This is what I was working with before I put on mascara or anything else, all of the shadows here contain blue somewhere. It is kind of hard to see in this photo but there are three different colours used. The inner corner highlight, the main colour and then a darker colour in the outer corner. These are all colours that I have used of varying regularity due to their colour.
Here is a better look at all the different colours on my eyes. It is easier to see in this photo the darker blue in the outer corner. This is a colour that I wear most likely the most regularly. Sadly this photo does not give this pigment the justice it deserves as it is a super pigmented and sparkly colour. It is one of my favourite colours! As you can see I am now wearing mascara and a little bit of eyeliner just to mildly finish the look. I was going to do more but was actually asked to go out with a friend so had to quickly finish and make myself presentable haha.
This is what it looked like on both eyes! Again I am only wearing the eye shadow and have product in my brows so please don't mind my super shinny skin! I love how this turned out so much! This went a lot better then I was expecting and I will def be wearing this out and about properly in the future!
This is a super easy look to achieve. I only used three colours and they were Moon Prism Power (inner corner) and Aurora Borealis (outer conrer) and both of these are made by Shiro Cosmetics and the main colour in the middle is Sailor Saturn (Hotaru) by Victorian Disco Cosmetics.
Both of these brands listed are located in America and ship internationally! I love these shades so much and if you think you would like to try them I suggest you do! Both Shiro Cosmetics and Victorian Disco cosmetics can be purchased through the Shiro Cosmetics website.
Well, this is the end of this post! I hope you liked this look and let me know if you do something similar or something you think I should change!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz - Review
Hello!
Another cult product up for review today! This is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, and I use the shade taupe.
Here is a shot of what the Brow Wiz, not gonna lie I did think it was gonna be a lot bigger when I got it. From videos I had seen online I did think that the packaging was more bulky, so I am glad to see that this is not he case as this makes it easier to travel with!
One on end of the product is the a small brush, I don't use this very often because I don't really have unruly brows. I have used it a few times though, that's why it is looking a little bit dirty.
On the other side is the actual product, when I first looked at the colour in store I didn't think that it would really suite me, but after putting it on I fell in love, it is a little darker then my natural colour, but when I have a full face of makeup on it doesn't look odd at all.
This is a product that is super easy to work with and because of the fine point it makes it really easy to fill in your brows. I have also found that if you accidentally draw outside of the lines its super easy to just wipe the colour away and then blend your foundation back in.
I have found that this product easily lasts all day and I love it for that, I remember thinking that this would be super expensive when I went to purchase this. But it only cost $21 USD, which is most likely a lot for American's but I thought that this was a pretty good price, seeing as everything is really expensive back home.
There isn't a lot of product in here, there isn't even 1g of product. But so far I am finding that it is lasting a while. I will be able to update with how long this product lasts for with daily use once I have finished it up!
PRICE:
$21 USD Sephora
$38 AUD Rouche Boutique (Don't know where else it's available in Australia, this is just a site I know of)

Urban Decay Naked Palette - Review
While in America, I decided that I would have to pick up the cult favourite Naked palette by Urban Decay. It was pretty expensive but since using it I can understand why, I can also understand why everyone and their Mum owns this palette.
So to start off this review is the traditional image of the product, most likely not necessary because everyone knows what this looks like, but here is a friendly reminder. I honestly don't know how I feel about the fact that it is a velvet case, but I don't hate it. The gold foil is really pretty and I do think that it adds to the 'fancyness' of the palette. This has a magnetic closure and I really like it. It feels pretty strong so it will travel well if stored nicely. I haven't yet covered my palette in a mess, which I'm really thankful for.
Again, traditional photo of what the palette looks like on the inside. There is a mirror (which I think is kinda small) and a reminder of what the palette is called. I think this is kinda cute and brings the front of the palette to this inside.
The colours in this palette, I feel, are really good for beginners and also pros. Have used most of the colours in this palette and my favourite would def be the shimmer shades. I feel these blend when and transfer well from the palette to the eye. My favourite shadows would have to be Sidecar, Smog and Hustle. I will often use Sidecar or Smog all over the lid and then put Hustle in the corner. I feel this is a simple look that can be used often and changing the lipstick really changes up the look!
I so far haven't found anything that I super dislike about this palette which makes me really happy! I don't really use the brush that comes with this palette and have since put the brush back into the palette so there isn't a gaping hole in the middle.
While I was away this became available in Australia which I'm SUPER excited about so it means that I will be able to get the other palettes when I return home! I can't wait to collect the others and have the whole family in my collection.
Places to Buy:
Mecca: $78 AUD
Sephora: $54 USD

Rimmel London - First Impression
I recently came to a conclusion that I needed a waterproof mascara for work because of my mascara transferring to my brow bone throughout the day. I decided to pick up the Rimmel London Wonderfull Waterproof mascara because I was interested in the none waterproof formula. As many of you would be aware by now Rimmel has brought out a mascara with Argan oil in it. So far I haven't heard any raving reviews and there is kinda a reason why.
Here is an image of the wand. First off I don't have a problem with how big the brush is, but I DO have a problem with the fact that there is a little nob on the end. This makes getting to the smaller inner lashes almost impossible without hitting your nose (which I did).
I don't generally have a preference between plastic or 'normal' mascara wands. But for me, this brush reminds me of the Clump Crusher by Covergirl (again not a huge fan of that mascara). This brush doesn't clump lashes, which is something that I am very thankful for because I don't like clumpy lashes, so if that is something important to you, like for me then this mascara is great for that!
The reason I don't like this mascara is simple. It just coats my lashes and does nothing else. I didn't test the claim that this mascara makes my lashes softer or not, because as soon as I discovered this gave my lashes zero volume or length I went back to a favourite the Estee Lauder Sumptuous mascara (a sample size as I'm not paying the $44AUD price tag) just so that I had more length and volume for the day.
OVERALL:
This is a good mascara if you only want to use it for casual or 'no makeup' days as it coats all of the lashes nicely and wont clump your lashes together. But if you bought this for the volumizing effect then you will be disappointed. I plan to now use this as a top coat mascara so that I still have that waterproof layer.
RATING: 2/5
Let me know what you think about this mascara and also what I should try next!
See you next time xx

November Favourites
As this super busy month comes to a close, its time to talk about the products that I have been loving this month! All of the products have been with me for a while, so all of them are still available and none are limited edition.
First up is a lip product, because its the one product that I am constantly changing up in my makeup looks.
This is a M.A.C Lipstick in the shade Girl About Time, it is a Amplified finish and as you can tell it is a well loved lipstick as the bullet shape has changed.
Here is a swatch on the back of my hand, to me this is just a perfect pink and goes with so many looks. This is the lipstick that I use when I'm not sure what I want to wear for the day. I know there are dupes out there of this lipstick, but to me this is still my favourite lipstick and I will always have this in my collection!
Next up is a product that I have been using for a while and have changed how I have been using it.
That last product is something that I rediscovered in my collection and I'm so happy I did!
Rimmel London Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in 120 Pink Rose is my last favourite for the month. This is such a beautiful blush, I honestly can't believe I forgot about it! If you are looking for a blush to wear everyday without looking over done, this is the blush you are looking for! This gives the 'flushed' look that I think is just beautiful. I love to wear this on my more natural days or my more relaxed days where I don't want to look too done up. If you're looking for a soft pinky rose colour then this is the blush for you! Another great thing about this is how pigmented it is, granted it can be a little hard to swatch on the back of your hand BUT don't go heavy handed with the blush otherwise you'll just have WAY to much product on your brush. Honestly 1 - 2 taps on the pan is enough, its honestly that pigmented!
These were my favourites for the month, let me know what yours are in the comments below!

Next up is a product that I have been using for a while and have changed how I have been using it.
This would have to be one of my favourite mascaras and its the Accelerator Endless by Rimmel London (this tube has been well loved so some of the name has been rubbed off). This is a mascara that has fibres in it to make your lashes longer, and for me this is most definitely the case! I have used this on both my top lashes and my lower lashes, and I have found that I like it better on my lower lashes. This is because the wand coats all of my lower lashes really easily and gives them that extra length they need to match my top lashes. Also the size of this wand makes it easier to get closer to the lash line because the plastic bristles aren't overly long.
Next is a product that I don't think I could live without anymore, its seriously improved my makeup routine!
The NARS Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eye Shadow Base has become a staple in my makeup routine. I have super oily eye lids and I had heard that this helps keep eye shadow from creasing throughout the day. And it most certainly does that! With the help from my Inglot Gel Eyeliner in White #96 as the base, my eyeshadow can last up to 10 - 12 hours no problem. Which is a huge plus because some days I am honestly wearing my makeup that long, and even longer! This is a great product and I will never go without it!

November Bella Box
So, its that time of the month again when the subscription boxes start arriving at people's doorsteps! And this month was no different. Though this month I didn't receive my email letting me know when I was getting my box, as it had already arrived before the emails were even sent out! Again this month didn't come with a box, but a card explaining that some of the products in this months box were just too big to fit inside. This doesn't bother me as I am never too fussed about the box! Sadly I have since thrown away all of the cards that came with this months box so I do not have those images or information. (I'm also on holiday and I was already bringing WAY to much as usual!) So I will just go straight into talking about what I got and my thoughts on those products!
In this image is the Compeed Blister Medium, this was the bonus product in this months box. I personally don't have a huge issue with blisters, so for me this isn't really useful, BUT my sister suffers horribly from blisters and uses this brand and product regularly and I know from her that these are amazing! They look a bit funny but they do what they claim to do, so don't frown a pun this product if you got it in your box and suffer from blisters!
The product to the right is the Palmer's Multi-Effect Perfecting Facial Oil, it claims to help reduce the appearance of fine lines. I don't know how I feel about this product, although the image doesn't show that the sample of this came in packaging similar to what you would expect perfume to be in. I am always nervous with trying new face products because my skin can be very fussy. So I don't think I will get any use out of this sadly.
Lastly is the Lon Yitalite 24K Gold Eye Mask. I have never heard of this brand nor tried an eye mask so this will be interesting! I have been interested in eye masks, so I guess while I'm on holiday it would be the best time to try these!
This was the item in the box that meant that all the products wouldn't fit in their usual blue box. Again I don't care about the box, but I do wish it was something better then fake tan. I don't fake tan and don't have any interest in it (I don't know how my profile implies that I want to be tan, is me saying I'm super pale an auto thing to giving me fake tan?) Either way I will never be using this, also the colour of the tin terrifies me. I have super pale skin and I feel like if I tried using this I would just look super fake and have the 'fake tan' look.
These were the last few products in my box, firstly I will talk about the nail polish, as I'm the most angry with this product. I have used this brand in the past because it was cheap ($2 a bottle) BUT this STINKS LIKE VARNISH. Now some people might think 'It's nail polish of course it does', so to clarify I mean varnish someone would use to polish wood to make it water resistant. IT SMELLS SO HORRIBLE. I have not even opened this and have no interest in ever using this product. I also feel annoyed and ripped off BECAUSE its a $2 product that I could easily try, and is easily accessible in stores like Big W and Target.
The last product is the only thing I was remotely excited about, this is because I have seen some YouTuber's talk about this and loved it! It has been called a dupe for the Naked palettes and so I was excited to try these! I have also heard so many good things from Coastal Scents in general so the excitement only grew! The only real downer about this is the size of the pans and also the fact that the names of these shadows isn't listed anywhere. But the colour selection is still good, because this could be considered a neutral palette which would be good for travel because of its size.
OVERALL REVIEW:
Straight off the bat I have never been more disappointed with a box, and so I have actually already gone online and unsubscribed because of how upset I was. The teasers online got me really excited for this box so I thought this would be a great month! Last months box was pretty good so I had high hopes, which were utterly destroyed.
If you received a different box please let me know! I'm still curious to find out what other people received!
See you next time! xx

October Favourites
So the month of October has already come and gone and I think that the years are just starting to go by to fast! I didn't really have a lot of favourites this month but these are the ones that I do have!
This would have to be my all time favourite for the month and I don't think that I could live without this in my beauty bag anymore. I can totally understand why people are obsessed with their brows! This is a lovely product that I think is great for people who are beginning with brows. This is a product that is easy to remove if you make a small mistake (which I have done sooooo many times!). I am so glad I got this and I think it's totally worth the hype. The colour I have is in light/medium.
PRICE: $32 (Myer)
OTHER POST THIS IS MENTIONED IN HERE TA-DA
This is the Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara in 01 Black. This is a deluxe sample size that they nearly always give these out with their gift with purchase. Normally I don't really like using high end mascaras because the drug store has loads of good ones. But I honestly love this mascara because of the length and volume this gives me. I have naturally long lashes and I love the length this gives me. It also stays really well, I have cried while wearing this and it didn't run down my face so I am thankful for that!
PRICE: $48 (Estee Lauder AU) This is the first time I've looked up the price and I don't know if I would pay that, so look out for the deluxe samples!
This is another Estee Lauder product and this is the Double Wear Concealer in the shade 01 Light. Straight off the bat this is a perfect shade match for me. I have been using this product for years, but I have been really loving it for covering up the redness o my nose and chin. This is why I'm so thankful that this is a perfect colour match! This is a lovely concealer because its not super thick and blends beautifully with your foundation, whether you apply you concealer before or after foundation it doesn't affect this product!
PRICE: $33 (Estee Lauder AU)
My last favourite for the month is an eye shadow palette! As you can see it is the Meet Matt(e) Nude palette by the Balm.
If you have never seen inside this palette before here are the lovely shades included. My favourites are Matt Rosen, Matt Singh and Matt Lombardi. These shadows are great for a simple everyday look. I often wear Matt Singh on 3/4 with Matt Rosen in the corner for work. The colours in this palette are simple to work with and look great! I also have oily eye lids and with the right primer these will easily last all day and not loose pigmentation!!
PRICE: $42 (the Balm)
$49 David Jones (Where I purchased mine from)

NARS Translucent Crystal Setting Powder - Loose
Today is a review on the NARS Translucent Crystal Setting Powder, I have been using this for months now and I want to talk about it!
First off are some pictures of what the product looks like!
The bottom of the packaging.
The general inside of the product.
I have been using this for a few months now just like I said at the start. I wanted to try this because I have heard a lot of good things about this product from good old YouTube. Normally I go for pressed powders, but I was in the mood for a change and so got the loose version. I do not regret this at all! So that is a good thing. I am tempted to get the pressed though, I will explain why below.
The reason why I love this product so much is that it helps keep me matte during the day. I have really oily skin in the T-zone and so I need some help with keeping my makeup look good and not utterly horrible. I do think that this does help with that!
The reason I have thought about getting the pressed powder is because of the image above. I LOVE how this feels and looks on my skin, the only problem is that the loose version isn't exactly very travel friendly. This happened after being in my bag from shopping, it took me roughly 20 minutes to be able to get the product back into the base of the packaging. So my only concern is that if you're doing a lot of traveling maybe think about getting the pressed version. I might be getting it as I plan to go overseas soon and don't really want to have to spend potentially an hour trying to get all the product back in the right spot.
I have also re-applied this through the day and it didn't not disturb my makeup at all. It returned my makeup to what it looked like when I had first applied it in the morning. Which I was shocked and so glad for because I didn't really have time to touch up anything else.
OVERALL THOUGHTS:
I do seriously love this product, I use it everyday and when I don't use it as apart of my routine I do notice a difference in how my makeup looks. If you're in need of a nice face powder and looking for a high-end product or even just a change I think you should consider this product.
RATING:
9/10
PRICE: $46 (MECCA)
Pressed version: $46 (MECCA)
Hope this helps, thanks for reading!

This is roughly what I would use to cover my face, this is most likely too much, so it shows you just how little you need. Now I most likely use a little too much powder, so people with normal/ dry skin would need a lot less than me. I find that this product does not affect my foundation, but even though it is a translucent powder, I do feel that it does help my foundation match my skin colour a bit more. My foundation is slightly too dark for me so this helps lighten it a tiny bit.

Mecca and Benefit
So! This is just a heads-up post! Recently Mecca sent me an e-mail to me letting me know that this seasons Beauty Loop box was in-store! This means that I had already spent over $300 at Mecca to get into level 1.
Now, I went in wondering if I would have to spend more money to get this box? Glad to report that nope! This comes as a part of the service, so if you're level 1 or above get on the box as it doesn't cost you anything!
This is the Level 1 box, it is my understanding the different levels have different boxes, which I think is great!
This is the packaging it comes in, it reminds me of the monthly subscription boxes which was cool.
Just like the monthly boxes it comes with a handy card!
On the back shows the products which are in the box! One thing I love it it explains why Mecca loves the product, but also how to use it! Which I think is great, because honestly sometimes I don't know what I'm meant to do with the products I get.
So here is whats in this seasons box, not gonna lie, little sad, but still cool to get this for free! The foundation sample looks good, but there was no choice in colour so ah well. I'm most excited for the perfume! I have ALWAYS wanted to try something from this brand and so now I can!!! :D
Def get on this if you can, I mean its free and it gives you the chance to try new things!
If you're interested and in Australia, here is a link to the Beauty Loops FAQ and here is a link to where you can sign up if you want to!
The next is a goodie from Benefit. The only reason I knew about this is because of Instagram!

I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was even a sample of the They're Real Remover in there, another product I have wanted to try!
As you can see its a full size mascara, a small liner and a sachet of the remover!

I was glad to see there was a little stopper in the top of the liner, the lid is also a screw top which I was glad to see!
I have used the They're Real Mascara and I haven't been hella excited nor super disappointed. I also wasn't using it 'correctly' so lets see this time! The They're Real Push-up Liner is only 0.36, while the full size is 1.4g. But thats ok, because this is a good size to see if you like or hate the product!
PRICES:
Mascara: $38 AUD (Myer)
Liner:$35 AUD (Myer)
Remover: $25 (Myer)
If you're interested in either of these I would suggest getting on it because there is no telling how long these will be available!
Thanks for reading! Let me know if you get either of these!

Cherry Culture Haul plus other purchases
So... Went shopping again, not even gonna hide it. I had received my Cherry Culture haul and then I also went shopping with a friend and she told me I needed some more things in my life and I listened and got them as well!
To start with I am going to talk about the first pallet that I have ever bought for myself. The Balm's Meet Matt(e) Nude is the first glorious product that I bought!
This is the colour Ma-li-boo, I love bright pinks and so this is a colour that is right up my ally. I have already worn this once and my only comment so far is that make sure your lips are in good condition otherwise it shows up the flaky spots, to correct this I just put a thin layer of lip gloss over top.
This is the shade Apple Strudel (Target)
Cherry Pie (Cherry Culture)
Cupcake (Cherry Culture)
Devil's Food Cake (Cherry Culture, also this isn't as brown as it appears in this photo)
Maple Blondie (Target)
Raspberry Tart (Cherry Culture)
Sugar Cookie (Cherry Culture)
I love these so much! I really want to get more of these! There are a couple of places in Australia where you can get your hands on NYX products, it just depends if you want to get it in store or can wait for shipping.
PRICE: $5 (Cherry Culture)
$9.95 (Target I bought mine for 6.95)
These last products are new to Australia and I was super excited because I am a big lover of this brand and also this product! This is new to Australia but not to America, so Australians get excited if you love these like I do!
The Electro Pop collection Baby Lips from Maybelline New York has come to Australia! These are in the American packaging which makes me even more excited about this collection. These so far are only available are Target, I was surprised that these are not at Priceline.
This is the Berry Bomb, just like in America, these are sheer coloured lip balms so don't be freaked out by the bold colour that is in the tube. I am still excited to try this on!
This next one is called Oh! Orange, I have yet to try this on my lips but I have swatched this on my hand and I like the colour that it gave, again, it's nothing scary so don't freak out!
This is the last shade that is now available at Target, this is the shade Pink Shock, I think that this will be my facourite because I love pink! This was also the most pigmented out of the lot, again not as bright as in the tube but still a lovely colour!
There will be more hauls coming as beauty addicts do go online shopping hehe
But I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know what you have picked up recently!
Bye xx
To start with I am going to talk about the first pallet that I have ever bought for myself. The Balm's Meet Matt(e) Nude is the first glorious product that I bought!
This is the front of the pallet, I think it looks nice because it is a simple cover and the name of the pallet is displayed in a large font making it easy to read and also to see from afar if you need to!
These are the shadows that come with the pallet, and as the name suggests they are all matte! I have only used this twice but I LOVE IT!
If you are desperate for a review then check out the blogger and friend who convinced me that I needed this in my life! Pastelsparkles Review
PRICE: $42 (The Balm)
$49 (David Jones, This is where I bought it but couldn't find this pallet on their website)
Next is onto some products tat you can only get in Australia. These products are by the brand Australis. They are the Velourlips, they have been given a lot of attention from the Australian YouTubers for a very good reason! These are amazing!
These are the two colours that I got this time! They are Mi-a-mee and Ma-li-boo.
This is the colour Ma-li-boo, I love bright pinks and so this is a colour that is right up my ally. I have already worn this once and my only comment so far is that make sure your lips are in good condition otherwise it shows up the flaky spots, to correct this I just put a thin layer of lip gloss over top.
This is the colour Mi-a-mee, this is more of an orangy colour, I don't normally go for these sort of colours but I love how it looked o the back of my hand so I couldn't resist getting it! I haven't yet worn this colour so no comments yet.
PRICE: $9.95 (Priceline)
Next is the big part of the haul, it's also where Cherry Culture comes into the post, over a month ago they had a great sale on the website, I think it was like 60% off store wide, so I got on that and bought a few things. I only bought NYX Butter Glosses, this is because I only really wanted these and also didn't want to spend a butt load of money.
These are all the shades that I bought both from Cherry Culture and Target. I bought some in store because there is 30% off sale at the moment, but I don't know how long that sale is on for.
