September Favourites!

The month of September came and went super fast! Sorry that this post is a bit late, I only have excuses to offer so I will just move right along to my favourites for the month!

I'm super sorry to start off a post with some limited edition products, but these are honestly my favourite lips sticks of the month. The two that I have been loving are from M.A.C. and they are Kelly Yum Yum from the Kelly Osbourne collection and Mystical from the Alluring Aquatics collections.

Here is a couple of photos of the packaging, as you can see these lipsticks are in limited edition packaging I love them! My favourite packaging would have to be from the Alluring Aquatics because the rain drops are raised and feel awesome!!
As you can see on the bottom of the packaging it lists the colour name and also what finish the lipstick is. I personally prefer satin and cremesheen because of how they feel on my lips.
This first swatch is of Kelly Yum Yum. This is Candy Yum Yum in a different finish. Candy Yum Yum is a matte finish where as Kelly Yum Yum is a satin finish.
This is a swatch of Mystical, this is one of the first nude shades I have bought from M.A.C., I personally prefer bright shades but once I swatched this I knew I had to have it in my collection.

Again I'm sorry that my first favourites are limited edition lipsticks but these have honestly been my favourites. I have been wearing these so much its a bit ridiculous. I love wearing Kelly Yum Yum with a more neutral look as well as black/ plain clothing so that way the lipstick stands out. I wear Mystical when I am going for a more subtle look. I find that these last really well and they don't feel uncomfortable on my lips.

PRICE: $36 AUD

Next is my favourite powder of all time (so far) and it is the NARS Translucent Crystal Light Reflecting setting powder. I have had this for a few months now and I don't think I could live without it now.

There is a choice between a pressed powder and loose powder if the loose powder isn't for you. I normally use pressed but I was in the mood for something different and decided on the loose! (Important to note that there is NO price difference between the two.)

This is the inside of the product, when you first get the product there is a sticker over the holes to make sure lots of product isn't going everywhere before you even use the product. This is also black when you first use it, but I have used mine so yea.

This is roughly how much I use all over my face. Some might say this is too much which is perfectly fine! I prefer a MATTE finish and so maybe I apply too much, but this is the look I like.

This product isn't completely 'travel friendly' as you can see in this photo, this happened after I had my powder in my bag all day (because I had left it at my rents and mum kindly gave it back to me). Now this is WAY to much product to use, but I stress that you CAN get the product back into the packaging, it's just that you are going to have to spend the time to tap it all back in. The photo representing how much I use was taken after I had spent about 10 - 20 tapping the product back in. So yea, not really travel friendly.

Even though this isn't travel friendly I LOVE this product. It keeps me matte for ages without looking super powdery throughout the day. I also love how this feels on my skin throughout the day, it helps keeping my skin feeling fresh and like I don't have heaps of makeup on. One thing to note is that this does have a strong-ish smell, so be aware of that when using this. I don't mind the smell and just adds to the great time I have using this product!

In Australia to get this in-store you can head over the Mecca Cosmetica which is a stand alone store and sometimes available in Myer.

PRICE: $46 AUD (This has recently went through a price change, it used to be $55 AUD)
LINK: NARS Translucent Powder (Link takes you to Mecca's website)

My last favourites are eye shadows. These have honestly become some of my all time favourite colours in my collection. I use them so often! These products are the NYX Eye Shadows in Sahara and Walnut.

On the left is Sahara and Walnut is on the right.

I love the colour of this. I put apply this to 3/4 of my lid with a white base to make the colour look more pigmented.

One thing I love about the packaging is how it has other languages on the back. (Mainly the Japanese as I can read it and giggle at what it's called in Japan.)

As you can see this is the back of the Walnut shadow.

I love this colour so much! I love to put this in the corner of my eye to create a more smokey look.

I love these shadows soooooo much and the look that I create with these two shadows is really simple but looks great! I have received compliments on these shadows and it just makes me love them more. Walnut is a creamier shadow and you don't need a lot of shadow to get an amazing colour pay off. Sahara takes a bit more to build up but I still love the colour that is gives once the colour has been packed on.

This is a hand swatch of Sahara.
And this is Walnut!

I know that I didn't have many favourites this month, but simple is sometimes better! I will still be using these products this month but I already know some of my favourites for this month! Leave me a comment with your favourites and anything you think that I should rush out and get and try out!

Thanks for reading!

Work (Factory) Makeup Routine

As I have two jobs in two totally different fields, I have two different work routines. The one I will be talking about in this post is basic, easy to do everyday, in a rush or if you're just not in the mood to put on a full face of make-up. I use 7 make-up items in this look and it takes me less then 10 mins in the morning to do. In this post I won't be talking about skin care, but if you're curious about the primers I use in this make-up look, they are the Too Faced Shadow Insurence and the Rimmel London Stay Matte face primer.

I always start my routine with my eyes, this is just in case I get fall out. Granted I don't use shadow in this look, it is just my routine to do eyes first.

To start off with I use the M.A.C. Paint Pot in Groundwork.

As you can see mine is well loved!!

I use only this on my eyes, I work odd hours everyday so I never know how long my shadow needs to last. So to prevent horribly creased eye shadow I just wear this. This product just darkens my lids and makes them look put together. This does still crease on me, but you can't tell unless you get up close because it still covers all of my lids, not leaving a patchy look.

Next for me is eye liner! I am a liquid liner girl and my liquid liner of choice is the Maybelline New York Master Precise in Black.
I LOVE this product and have repurchased it a few times now. It is a brush tip applicator and I love it. It's super black and doesn't flake or smudge during the day.

Next I move onto foundation. I like to do my make-up in a slightly different order so it gives my foundation as chance to set. At the moment my foundation of choice for work is the Revlon Colourstay in 110 Ivory. I have written a review on this which you can view here.

Once I have put my foundation on I go ahead and spot clean my brush. I won't be using it again but I personally can't stand using a brush again without it being spot cleaned. I also do this to give my foundation a chance to set on my skin. I personally don't use concealer everyday because I don't need to, also where I work has pretty poor lighting so you can't really tell anyway!

Now I move back to the eyes. I apply two coasts of mascara, currently I'm using the Maybelline New York Great Lash in Blackst Black.

I like this mascara because it's not over the top and great for daily use. It feels nice on the lashes and gives nice volume and length. The only problem I have with this product is that if I am constantly looking up it will transfer to my brow bone.

On the topic of brows, this is about the time that I do mine! I'm still new to the brow game but the product I use is the Benfit Gimme Brow in Light/Medium.

As I said I am new to the brow game,  mainly because I was having so much trouble trying to find something that suited my hair colour! But I found this and I honestly love it! It's easy to use and if you're like me who isn't used to seeing filled in brows everyday, this is a great product to start on. Another thing I love about this is how easy it is to clean up a mistake, you simply just wipe it away!

After that we move back to the face products and I set my foundation with powder. I have oily skin so this is a must for me. At the moment I am using the Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in 003 Peach Glow.
I have had this powder for a while but it still looks good!

This is another product that I have repurchased many times in the past. This is a lovely powder that really does help keep you matte if that is the look you are going for!

Lastly we need to add some colour back to our skin and I love to use the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in 120 Pink Rose.

As you can see I give this blush a lot of love!

This is honestly one of my favourite blushes because it is super easy to apply and looks beautiful. I use this blush constantly (as you can tell) and will definitely always have this in my collection!

And here is an image of the final look! And yes I'm in my ever sexy work clothes.

Lastly I finish up with some form of setting spray just to help my makeup last even longer! I love wearing this to work as it makes me feel confident and that I'm protecting it from the environment that I work in.

M.A.C Soft and Gentle - Review

So today I will be talking about one of the most popular M.A.C highlighters. This is the Mineralize Skinfinish  in Soft & Gentle.

Now it is it my understanding that this is the new packaging for the powders. This is my first powder from M.A.C. so I have nothing to compare it to. I personally like this packaging because you can see the product from the outside, meaning you don't have to rely on the back. For me it also lets you easily see how much product you have left.

Another new touch I like is that it is a magnet closing. For me this makes it more secure and I have more faith that it wont open in my bag. I have heard a couple people complain about this possibly wearing out. But I doubt that as magnets are super powerful.

This shows what my powder looks like.

I don't know how relevant this is, but this just shows what information is on the back of the product. As expected the colour name and the product type is listed clearly on the back.

REVIEW:

I haven't had much experience with highlighters because this is my first time trying them! I know I didn't want to try a cream product because I still don't feel confident with using creams. I decided to go with a cult favourite as my first highlighter as well because I figured I would have a better chance getting a long with it and loving the highlighter. I know this is expensive to be my first highlighter but I didn't really know of any drug store highlighters at the time.

First off, I really do love the sheen that this gives one first applied to the skin. I love looking in the mirror and seeing it reflect the light. I place this product on last in my makeup routine. I then use my M.A.C. Fix+ to finish off my look.

As much as I love this when I first put it on, I feel like it doesn't last all day on my face. It could be because I have oily skin and so my skin just naturally makes it fade throughout the day.

One thing I do love about this product though, which I think of as a redeeming feature, is that you don't need a lot of product to get the desired look. I just tap my brush on the top and then apply it to my face. I find that this is enough for me to cover half of my face, which I then just tap it again to do the other side. I apply this along the full length of my cheek bone. I prefer to have a lot of highlight because I'm someone who prefers to be able to see what I am applying to my face.

I don't think I will repurchase this in the future, but to be honest there is so much product here that I doubt that I ever will need to. Which is something that I really like.

Overall I do really love this product and love that it is a part of my daily routine, but like I said, I doubt I will be buying this again.

Bella Box - September

I am one of the many people who are subscribed to the Bella Box monthly service! It is a service where you pay $15AUD a month and you get a box full of beauty goodies sent straight to your door! (or where ever best suites you). I have been apart of this monthly service for a while now but this will be my first post!

Bella box is a beauty box that comes with 5+ beauty products each month. Some are full size and other are just deluxe samples. It honestly depends on what type of product it is to whether you will get a full size or not. There are also sometimes bonus', just like in this months box. These are generally unexpected and can be anything (one month everyone received a free magazine!).

Normally Bella Box comes inside a cute blue and white spotted box, but this month there was a little card explaining that there was a 'wardrobe malfunction'. It does reassure everyone though that next month it will be back to normal!

When you first open up your monthly box you are greeted by a card explaining the theme behind the months box. This month was beauty wardrobe as you can see!

On the back of the double sided card it explains the products in your box, how much full size costs and also where to find the products if you wish to repurchase in the future!

Going in order of the products displayed on the card, the first product I will talk about is the Neutrogena Makeup Wipes!

First off this isn't one of the full size products but there are still 7 wipes in this sample! This is a great size to put in your hand bag to carry with you. I personally will be putting this in my suite case to take to Japan as I want something to take on the plane with me and this is perfect! I have used these before and I really enjoy these. They are a nice wet towelette that doesn't dry out if you store them correctly. They are a little rough on the face but this doesn't bother me as I feel like it is slightly exfoliating my face. It does remove a lot of my makeup which I love and I have repurchased these many times in the past!

CARDS DESCRIPTION:
Remove even the most stubborn waterproof mascara with these makeup wipes! A perfect handbag accessory.

PRICE: 25 pack $7.99AUD (Priceline)

The second product is a nail polish by Gelogic in the colour Champagne.

The packaging for this product is nice and simple which I really like. It also wasn't super hard to get out of the packaging which I was extremely thankful for!

I personally have never had gel nails or tried anything to do with gel nails. I work with food as a part time job so having nail polish on is frowned at. So sadly I wont be able to really test this nail polish until my factory goes into shut down (which is about a month away). I am looking forward to trying this! The colour is Champagne and I am hoping that the colour is represented on the bottle! If so I am looking forward to having a more natural looking nail polish to wear.

CARD DESCRIPTION:
Get all the benefits of a gel manicure without UV or LED light! Simply apply two coats of this long-wearing and chip resistant polish and allow to air dry.

PRICE: $9.99 AUD (thebeautyoffice.com.au)

The third product I got were eyelashes! The lashes I got are in the style Pin-Up which is a similar style to what I already wear so I know I will enjoy these!

My first impression of these is that I really like the style, but I am not too thrilled with the packaging. It is packaging that if you don't have scissors handy you will have a lot of trouble trying to get them open! I haven't ever tried the 1000 Hour lashes before but at least I know that these are a style that I will enjoy!

CARD DESCRIPTION:
Take you makeup to the next level with these revolutionary lashes! Define those eyes and look like you're ready to hit the red carpet.

PRICE: $9.95AUD (thebeautyoffice.com.au)

The firth item is something that I don't really know how to react to because I can't read anything on the packaging! Its the Germaine De Capuccini Defence Emulsion lotion.

The packaging for this is a beautiful deep purple with glitter running throughout. I feel like this product being in a container like this will make it easier to use.

I don't really have much to say about this because I am always cautious when it comes to face products because I do have sensitive skin that is prone to breaking out when using products its not used to. I will still try this product because it is small so I will know whether or not it breaks my skin out, and if it does I wont feel bad about getting rid of it.

CARD DESCRIPTION:
Protect your skin against environmental stresses and free radicals. Apply morning and evening to cleansed skin to keep it looking rejuvenated, youthful and radiant.

PRICE: $143.00 AUD (bellabox.com.au)

The last product is the product that I was the most excited to see in my box this month! This is a product by Sleek! In Australia we don't have Sleek so I am so excited to try this brand! This is the Sleek Eye Dust in Hypnotic.

This is an overall image of the packaging, just like everyone says the packaging is nice and sleek. It also nice to see what the colour is from a quick glance.

This is the of the packaging. It is nice and simple with the product type and colour listed. It also gives you Sleeks website and also the expiry date.

This has a nice stopper in the top. For this image I just removed it so you can have a better view at the colour and also how full this is! The stopper did have a sticker on it to stop product coming out during shipping. The stopper is nice and secure, its just I took it out for this photo.

Here is a swatch of the colour. It looks more blue in this image then in real life. But the blue is definitely in there. I feel like this would look slightly different depending on how you apply this. For example when I had this on my finger it looked more like it did in this photo which is a nice deep blue. So if you used something like M.A.C. Fix+ it would look like this. But if you are just applying it straight to your eye it will appear darker, more like a blue black. Which is still a beautiful colour but seeing as we are heading into Spring and Summer here I don't know how much I will use this colour.

CARD DESCRIPTION:
Straight from the UK, this hyper-pigmented pearlescent loose eyeshadow will illuminate and highliht your eyes. Use dry for a light shimmery colour or with a wet brush for an intense look that pops.

PRICE: Not listed, just says that Sleek products are available online at bellabox.com.au

BONUS PRODUCTS:

The two bonus products that I got this month are two sachets by Garnier and Revlon.

As you can see these are just some small samples so I don't know how I will go getting an opinion on these products. The first is the Garnier Perfect Blur. It says on the packaging that it is a smoothing perfecting primer. I am interested to try this and to see if I can maybe get more then one use out of this but it honestly doesn't feel like there is a lot of product inside.

PRICE: 22ml $16.95 (Priceline)

The second is the Revlon Colourstay Foundation. I have already written a blog post about this so I will list that below. I was excited to see a sachet of this because I could have used it for travel, but I can't use it at the moment. I will not be able to use this sample unless I darken up during the warmer months because I am in Ivory and I got a sample in Natural Beige. Otherwise I do love this product and do suggest checking out!

PRICE: 30ml $34.95 (Myer and Priceline)

Overall I am happy with this months box because I got a lot of products that I do already use and am excited to use in the future! This is honestly one of the best boxes that I have had in a while so there you go. I do think this is something that is great to join if this is something you're into. I am definitely looking forward to see what is coming in next months box!

Favourite Lip Balm - Maybelline Baby Lips - Menthol

So today I decided to write about my favourite lip balm! Though I haven't tried many high end lip balms, I have tried a fair few drug store ones (that are available in Australia) and wanted to share my favourite. I understand that lip balm is a totally person thing but if you're looking for a different option here you go!

My all time favourite lip balm is the Maybelline Baby Lips in Menthol. Now to start off it is only this one that is my favourite. I am not a huge fan of all of the other colours and option in the range, it is only the Menthol flavour that is my favourite.

The packaging looks like this! It is a pastel green and blue. This can be a little difficult to read, but it does make it stand out a lot so it's really easy identify.

Like all of the lip balms the shade/flavour the packaging has the name on the side. I find this very useful for when I want to find the lip balm again! Or even better when telling other people which lip balm to get.

This is an image of what the lip balm looks like. It is a clear balm which I really enjoy. It is important to understand that there is a strong smell that goes with these lip balms. If you don't like the smell it will bother you when you are wearing it because if you're not used to it you can still smell it. After roughly half an hour the smell will go away.

PACKAGING:

This lip balm comes in plastic packaging just as you can see above. This is a wind-up lip balm, with the wind-up mechanism at the bottom. This can break when trying to wind the product down (I do this to see how much I have left) but never had a problem winding it up. It doesn't scratch easily, or if it does I can't tell. One good thing about this packaging is if you accidentally wash it, you can still use it. Some people might be disturbed by that, but the lid is secured that tightly that no water got into the product making it fine to still use. The product wasn't affected and I didn't notice any difference in taste or performance.

REVIEW:

These lip balms have a sales pitch of lasting 8 hours, straight off the bat I don't agree with this. I mostly wear this for work because it DOES moisturize my lips really really well, but I personally don't think it lasts 8 hours. When first using this lip balm it does tingle, personally I like how this feels because it means I know that the lip balm is there. There is a distinct smell like I mentioned before, and you can taste it when you lick your lips. It doesn't taste amazing which I actually like because then is discourages lip licking and biting (biting my lips is a nervous/ bored/ I'm hungry habit so having a non pleasent tasting lip balm is a plus for me). In saying that though it is not a horrible taste that you can't stand and want it off your lips as soon as you put it on.

The main reason why I love this lip balm SOOO much is that it helps heal my lips. I get dry lips pretty quickly and so I wear lip balm often because I hate how my lips feel without something on them. But when wearing this I know that I am helping my lips improve. I will generally only wear this at work because it protects my lips from the dry air and also lasts until smoko (which is when I eat and it gets rubbed off).

One thing to note is that if you do leave it in your pocket or a hot place it will make it go soft meaning if you're not paying attention you could swipe a LOT of lip balm all of your lips making it awkward to use and an awkward situation. I have stored it in my bra (maybe TMI but its the truth) and its fine there, it doesn't get hot enough to smear which is good if you don't have pockets!

I also know that this helps heal lips well because after travelling a friends lips were destroyed (I have never seen lips looking that painful and sore) and so I gave him my lip balm. In one week he used the whole thing (super impressive) but his lips were healed and looked great! So it does work. I have also recommended this lip blam to some of my friends and they too have agreed that this is a great lip balm.

I'm super sad though because I believe that they are discontinuing the lip balm in Menthol because I'm finding it more and more difficult to find it in store, and when I do its on sale. I really REALLY hope they aren't getting rid of this lip balm because it means I will lose my favourite. Because of this I have been buying it whenever I see it (which means I have about 5 backups) but it's totally worth it.

Places to find the Baby Lips range are generally anywhere that sells the Mabyelline line, though in stores the variety changes. The most common place for me personally to buy these are at Priceline where they are sold for $3.95 AUD. But because Maybelline goes on sale often all you have to do is wait for the right time to pick one up!

Overall I truly love this lip balm and it's the only one that I have numerous back-ups of. If you see this lip balm I defiantly suggest picking one up to give it a try! You won't regret it!

Revlon Colourstay Foundation

In this post I will be reviewing the Revlon Colourstay Foundation for Combination/ Oily skin. This is a foundation that I have been using for a little while now and thought I would talk about it!

This top image is the overall packaging, it is sold glass that isn't frosted so one can easily see the colour of the foundation, also if stored upright how much product is left. For me personally I have designated this foundation as my 'work foundation' due to the fact that this is the cheapest foundation I own, I was also told this is a dupe for my favourite foundation the Estée Lauder Double Wear.

COLOUR MATCH

The colour that I chose is 110 Ivory and this is honestly the best colour match that I have ever had. It matches my neck perfectly and does not have an odd 'foundation' colour to it which I am incredibly thankful for. It does make me look at some other brands and wonder why they don't have a shade like this in their collection.

PERFORMANCE

First off I do not believe this is a dupe for the Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, the texture of this foundation is a lot thinner then the Estée Lauder. This is a good thing though as in Australia we are heading into the warmer months and so a thinner foundation will be much appreciated. The coverage is medium to full cover which I like. This foundation is easy to layer (which is what I do when I don't want to use concealer). Do I believe this lasts 24 hours? No, at least not on my skin. One thing that I picked up in very quickly is that this foundation didn't like my sunscreen which I like to wear daily. Luckily for me,  for my work I am out of the sun all day, but I did notice that is would not last as well on my face if it was layered directly over my sunscreen. I stopped using the sunscreen and the longevity increased dramatically. I work generally a minimum of 8 hours when I go to work and so I needed it to last. Without sunscreen underneath it will easily do that. With the sunscreen it lasted maybe 3-4 hours before it started breaking down and vanishing from my skin.

Besides this one downer this is product has great coverage and will last the day if worn with the right products.

APPLICATION

I so far have never had any problems applying this to my face, granted I haven't honestly tried it with lots of different applicators because I honestly don't own them. But my application of choice is by brush and I use the Real Techniques Buffing Brush. This is a dense brush so it applies the product evenly without leaving any brush strokes on my face. I use roughly two pumps for my entire face and then maybe 1/2 a pump later on my cheeks, which are bright red. I have never had any problem trying to get an even coverage and I love how this feels on the skin. I use the Rimmel Stay Matte powder over top and I do believe this helps make the foundation last longer. I haven't tried this foundation with any other powder though so there might be one out there that is better!!

PACKAGING

I love the packaging of this product, it comes with a pump which is amazing. Although the pump is good, I do wish that it had a twisting mechanics which would lock the pump if you lost/ broke the cap. The main part of the packaging is a nice clean class with white writing. This can be a little difficult to read but it does add to the 'crispness' of the packaging. I so far have not experienced any problems with the packaging and am really enjoying it!

Below is a picture of the pump.

PRICE

$35 AUD (Priceline)

OVERALL THOUGHTS

I really enjoy using this foundation everyday for work because it's easy to apply and looks great! I will defiantly be getting another one when this one runs out!

MAC and Hourglass HAUL

Hello again!

So, I had a 10% discount from Myer that expired today (sorry) and I have always wanted to try some Hourglass products and seeing as Mecca has had a price decrease recently I wanted to try something!
The products that I purchased were M.A.C. Brush Cleanser, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat and the smaller version of the Veil Mineral Primer.
The first product that I will talk about is the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. I went a little bit over board with photos of the packing because on the back there was something that I hadn't seen on others so I thought it would be nice to add.
So, as you can see, this is just the outside of the packing. It was actually a little difficult to take the photos for the Hourglass products because the packing is really reflective!

As you can see, I only got the small one. I realise that it's not as cost effective but I don't know how I will get along with this product so, if I don't like it for what ever reason, I know I haven't wasted the money on the full size. Also, I feel like this will be better for travel as I might be tempted to take it to my parent's to use.

This is the part on the back of the packaging that I was referring to. I apologise that this image is on the side. What I liked it that this product even gives you skin care tips like staying out of the sun (and even what times its best to avoid being in full sunlight, which I thought was a nice addiction). That is why I took a photo to show just how much information is written all over the small box.
Now, because this is the day that I have purchased it, I haven't got any comments on the product other then from the small swatch from in store. As you can tell from the packaging, the product is white, although when I put it on the back of my hand it blended into nothing. It didn't leave any odd feeling on my hand which I am excited about. I did smell the back of my hand and I couldn't smell anything which is another bonus and something I look forward to."
Price: $25 AUD

Next, I will talk about the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat. I didn't really know which product I wanted to try first, besides the primer. But seeing as I am falling more and more in love with blush, I figured this would be the first product I would try!

Again, it was hard to take photos of the packing as it is very reflective! Which is really cool but does make it hard for an amateur like me to photograph.

This blush does have a lovely mirror and the packaging is nice and sturdy, which is reassuring. The clasp is sometimes a little awkward to open, but I think this is more of a good thing because you feel more confident that it wont randomly open in your makeup bag.

Now, this is what the product actually looks like! The lady who served me was very sweet. She went searching through the blushes in stock to find me one that had a nice mix of the colour and the powder on top. I thought that was really nice of her!

Again, I haven't used this product before as I have only purchased this today! Although, I did have a bit of a hard time trying to decide which one I would pick. I was debating between Diffused Heat and Radiant Magenta, but I decided with Diffused Heat because I wanted a shade that I was more comfortable with. Diffused Heat is a more peachy coloured blush. I'm super excited to try this tomorrow as I LOVED how it both looked and felt on my hand in-store.

Price:  $46 AUD

This last product was the only re-purchase of the day! Which is my trusty M.A.C Brush Cleanser. This is the third time that I have bought this. I love this for daily use to clean my foundation brush and my eye shadow brushes (and occasionally my powder brushes). This one will be going to my parent's house as the one there is almost gone. I honestly can't stand using a unclean brush (although this product doesn't deep clean my brushes, it still removes lots of product) so I love to use this. This doesn't leave a smell on the brushes nor does the pink affect the brush. I don't know how this works with other brush brands, but the main ones that I use are Real Techniques.

I know a lot of people complain about the fact that this product doesn't come with a pump. This doesn't bother me because I have never used it with a pump. I just put a cotton pad over the mouth of the bottle and just tip it quickly to get a little of product on it. I can then use both sides of the cotton pad and this is more then enough for my eye shadow brushes, but I do use my foundation brush for a couple of different things so it sometimes takes 2 - 3 cotton pads to remove the majority of the product from the brush. This doesn't bother me because to me this is a pretty cheap product for how long it lasts me! It also counts as apart of the Back-to-M.A.C. program, so that is another bonus.
