Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz - Review

Hello!

Another cult product up for review today! This is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, and I use the shade taupe.

Here is a shot of what the Brow Wiz, not gonna lie I did think it was gonna be a lot bigger when I got it. From videos I had seen online I did think that the packaging was more bulky, so I am glad to see that this is not he case as this makes it easier to travel with!

One on end of the product is the a small brush, I don't use this very often because I don't really have unruly brows. I have used it a few times though, that's why it is looking a little bit dirty.

On the other side is the actual product, when I first looked at the colour in store I didn't think that it would really suite me, but after putting it on I fell in love, it is a little darker then my natural colour, but when I have a full face of makeup on it doesn't look odd at all.

This is a product that is super easy to work with and because of the fine point it makes it really easy to fill in your brows. I have also found that if you accidentally draw outside of the lines its super easy to just wipe the colour away and then blend your foundation back in.

I have found that this product easily lasts all day and I love it for that, I remember thinking that this would be super expensive when I went to purchase this. But it only cost $21 USD, which is most likely a lot for American's but I thought that this was a pretty good price, seeing as everything is really expensive back home.

There isn't a lot of product in here, there isn't even 1g of product. But so far I am finding that it is lasting a while. I will be able to update with how long this product lasts for with daily use once I have finished it up!

PRICE:
$21 USD Sephora
$38 AUD Rouche Boutique (Don't know where else it's available in Australia, this is just a site I know of)

NYX Intense Butter Gloss - Review

So, a little while ago there was a huge hype about the new NYX Intense Butter Glosses, since then I have heard barely anything about them, and I think I know why!

This will not be a glowing review of this product so if you are looking for that please move on to the next review. The two shades that I bought were Spice Cake (left) and Apple Crisp (right).

To start this off is a picture of the packaging, it looks very similar to the Butter Gloss packaging which is nice, because its a simple packaging that makes it easy to find in a collection and also which brand the product belongs to.  Another nice this is that the colour of the product is clearly displayed on the outside, so one doesn't have to look at the bottom for an idea at the shade. Having the black top also helps distinguish it from the original Butter Gloss line.

The applicators for this product are a flat paddle, which I like, because this makes it easier for me to cover my bottom lip and also get a nice point for the top lip. I haven't had a lot of experience with this type of applicator, but I do like it so that is a plus!

The pigmentation on these are incredible, and I believe this is why they were so hyped when they were first released. There is no denying that these are beautiful colours. This is the reason why I bought them, because I knew that I would get a lot of use out of these and would love them to bits.

IF

They didn't bleed HORRIBLY!!! This is why I think they died out pretty quickly. I have not tried both shades because I am honestly nervous about it. I wore Spice Cake and it started bleeding on me super quickly, which then got worse as it started to fade and then me trying to fix it. I needed this to last all day and it didn't. I ended up feeling incredibly conscious of the way that my lips looked. This is not something that I want when I wear a both colour like this! I might try the red in the near future, but it will be on a day where I do not intend to leave my room so I can watch and see how it preforms.

Although I LOVE the original Butter Gloss formula I DO NOT like these at all. If you do not have any trouble with bleeding lipsticks then you might really enjoy this product, as they are comfortable on the lips, a drug store product and also super pigmented.

If you do have problems with products bleeding, I wouldn't go near this product, which makes me sad as I was super excited to have these, and collect these in the future. I am glad to see though that the hype for these died pretty quickly so I feel like not a lot of people have gone out and purchased too many.

Maybelline New York Fit Me Concealer - Reivew

Recently I purchased a new concealer so that I could use it everyday for work instead of using a high end concealer, and so now I'm going to talk about it! As you can guess it's the Maybelline New York Fit Me Concealer in the shade 15 Fair. Ironically this isn't the lowest number in the range, but it is the lightest shade which can throw you off a little when buying your shade. Make sure you swatch the shades because you just never know!

I like the packaging for this concealer because its small making it easy to travel with and it also makes it easier to see how much product is actually left within. I also like how easy it is to read all of the information on the packaging making it easy to re-purchase the product in the future.

This is a light concealer that gives medium to full coverage. This concealer is a lot thinner then other concealers that I have used which I am really thankful for, this also means that on hot days it doesn't feel like you have lots of makeup caked onto your face.

A bonus to this product is that it is a drug store product making it easier to find, repurchase and even get discounts on it more regularly, which is always a nice bonus. I was very glad to see that when I was using this product it didn't break me out at all, as I do have problems with sensitive skin.

Overall I would def get this product again, because its lightweight, medium to full coverage and easy to repurchase. If you haven't tried this before and are looking for something a bit cheaper and readily available, check this product out and see how it works for you!

PRICE:
$14.95 (AUD Priceline)

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Haul

So,  as everyone is aware , Jefree Star has released his own cosmetics line and they are SUPER popular and they are selling out super fast every time he restocks his products. Recently I got my hands on some of his products! I was first in line for the (then at the time) limited edition shades in [714] and Queen Supreme and then again for the restock of the products a few weeks ago.

I am now almost up-to-date with all of the shades that he has released, the only one that I am missing right now is Weirdo, which is currently out-of-stock.

So here is my image of the shades that I currently own. I LOVED that it came with this tissue paper with Jefree's logo all over it. I def plan to keep this and use it in my memory book or something!

The shades in the order they appear are: Unicorn Blood, Redrum, I'm Royalty, Prom Night, Celebrity Skin, Queen Supreme and [714].

So far I have only put Unicorn Blood, Redrum and Queen Supreme. So far I am in love with how these feel on the lips, it honestly feels like there is nothing on my lips and they so far do not feel super drying on the lips.

I have had a little trouble with the product completely setting on my lips, but I don't know if that is because some of my shades sat in one spot for over a month (due to me traveling around the world). I spent today playing with them in my hands to try and re-mix the product and will see if this fixes the problem.

I have also noticed that the lighter shades are indeed more patchy, I think this is because the formula is thinner. Upon swatching these on the back of my hand there is a distinct different in thickness between the lighter and darker shades. This is what is most likely affecting the performance of these shades.  I still love the lighter shades, but I can fully understand why people are getting annoyed by this.

Another thing I noticed is that the product looked a lot bigger in photos from Instagram, but I'm not bothered by that anymore because the smaller size makes them easier to travel with, which is a plus.

When I have worn all of the shades and have a more solid opinion on this product I will post swatches (hand and lip) and a review! So please look forward to that!

Thank you for reading! Catchya next time!

Urban Decay Naked Palette - Review

While in America, I decided that I would have to pick up the cult favourite Naked palette by Urban Decay. It was pretty expensive but since using it I can understand why, I can also understand why everyone and their Mum owns this palette.

So to start off this review is the traditional image of the product, most likely not necessary because everyone knows what this looks like, but here is a friendly reminder. I honestly don't know how I feel about the fact that it is a velvet case, but I don't hate it. The gold foil is really pretty and I do think that it adds to the 'fancyness' of the palette. This has a magnetic closure and I really like it. It feels pretty strong so it will travel well if stored nicely.  I haven't yet covered my palette in a mess, which I'm really thankful for.

Again, traditional photo of what the palette looks like on the inside. There is a mirror (which I think is kinda small) and a reminder of what the palette is called. I think this is kinda cute and brings the front of the palette to this inside.

The colours in this palette, I feel, are really good for beginners and also pros. Have used most of the colours in this palette and my favourite would def be the shimmer shades. I feel these blend when and transfer well from the palette to the eye. My favourite shadows would have to be Sidecar, Smog and Hustle. I will often use Sidecar or Smog all over the lid and then put Hustle in the corner. I feel this is a simple look that can be used often and changing the lipstick really changes up the look!

I so far haven't found anything that I super dislike about this palette which makes me really happy! I don't really use the brush that comes with this palette and have since put the brush back into the palette so there isn't a gaping hole in the middle.

While I was away this became available in Australia which I'm SUPER excited about so it means that I will be able to get the other palettes when I return home! I can't wait to collect the others and have the whole family in my collection.

Places to Buy:
Mecca: $78 AUD
Sephora: $54 USD
